How to Escape Adobe Acrobat Tools
Have you ever opened a tool in Adobe Acrobat DC Pro and gotten lost in all the great features–unable to easily return to just the PDF? Maybe you wanted to quickly see the changes you’ve made without all the mark ups. Maybe you wanted to check the PDF before you saved the changes. We recently received this inquiry, and thought to pass it along to you.
You can quickly access the PDF without all the added functionality and annotations that display inside a tool by clicking on the down arrow next to the name of the Acrobat tool that you are using. You’ll find this in the upper-left corner of the tool bar:
Then select “Back to Document.”
The Adobe Acrobat DC tool that you have open will close. The PDF then displays with the last changes made. So rather than looking for a “back button,” look for the down arrow giving you access to go “Back to Document.”
