Designed for those new to using trial technologies or looking for new ways to present their case, this eMCLE demonstrates how to maximize communication with judges and jurors by conveying information visually. From scanned exhibits to timelines and 3D animations, the basic elements of visual trial preparation and presentation are demonstrated.

Deposition Realtime Software Utilization (1 hour)

Learn about the most advanced realtime software for viewing testimony on your laptop as it transpires. Discover how to connect to your reporter at the deposition or via the Internet when taking depositions remotely. See how to create annotations, run searches, and create reports in realtime. Great for both attorneys and paralegals.

Adobe Acrobat Pro DC for the Legal Profession: Part 1 (1 hour)

As many courts require documents be filed online in the PDF format, legal professionals must be able to navigate PDFs with ease and proficiency. This eM/CLE is the first of a two-part series demonstrating how to use the legal-specific features available in Adobe Acrobat DC Pro, the latest Acrobat version. Topics include navigating Acrobat Pro DC, comparing PDFs for changes, Bates stamping PDFs, and redacting sensitive information and metadata in PDFs.

Technology at the Deposition and Beyond (1 hour)

Learn the latest technology available to make taking depositions easier. This eM/CLE provides an in-depth look at using realtime, electronic exhibits and deposition streaming technologies at depositions. Online repositories for accessing transcripts and exhibits, as well as using mobile transcripts for annotating transcripts on the go after the deposition are also demonstrated.
