National Court Reporters Association - NCRA
NCRA is committed to being the leader in advancing the profession of those who capture and integrate the spoken word into a comprehensive and accurate information base for the benefit of the public and private sectors.

Society for the Technological Advancement of Reporting - STAR
STAR is the driving force in the development of state-of-the-art court reporting technology. We provide a forum for interaction with key technology vendors in addition to sponsoring education through publications and seminars. STAR creates an environment which fosters both business and personal relationships. A primary reason for the formation of the Society for the Technological Advancement of Reporting was to create an organization through which its members could exchange information, evaluate products, and present their ideas to the manufacturer with a united voice. Today STAR members continue to take an active part in presenting information needed to enhance and improve CAT technology and related products.

California Court Reporters Association - CCRA
The mission of the California Court Reporters Association is to advance the profession of verbatim shorthand reporting by promoting professional reporting excellence through education, research, and the use of state-of-the-art technology; establishing and maintaining professional standards of practice; and advocating before legislative and regulatory bodies on issues which impact the judicial system and others served by the court reporting profession of California.

National Verbatim Reporters Association
The only national professional organization dedicated to the practice of voice writing, offering support and benefits to its members. The NVRA offers several levels of membership. Court reporters using either voice or stenographic methods may become general members of NVRA.

United States Court Reporters Association - USCRA
The United States Court Reporters Association is the national representative for the federal court reporting profession. The Association is committed to promoting and maintaining the highest standards of verbatim reporting, quality services, professional ethics, fidelity to the ideals of the judicial system, and advocating continuing education as well as the utilization of state-of-the-art technologies.

Washington Court Reporters Association - WCRA
The mission of the Washington Court Reporters Association is to promote the profession of court reporting. It is the objective of this professional association to maintain a membership base composed of court reporters, Communication Access Realtime Translators (CART), and captioners whose values are consistent with the ethical standards promulgated by the NCRA Code of Professional Ethics. WCRA represents its members in the state legislature on issues impacting court reporting, CART, and captioning.
